Research Centre for Policy and Law on Global Consumer Protection is a research institution of humanities and social sciences in China. The purpose of the Centre is researching international consumer policy and law and contributing to the development of international law.
The Centre is established with the cooperation between the WTO Studies School and the Institute of International Law, Wuhan University, which enjoys its fame of the best international law academy of China. The Centre has close co-operation and relations with some international organisations, and scholars in distinguished international universities which ensure the immediacy and leading position of the Centre’s research.
Research Centre for Policy and Law on Global Consumer Protection would carry out research on the consumer protection policies and laws in relevant countries and international organizations, and provide legal aid as an independent academic institution to the Chinese government and organizations which participate in international legislation and trade.
