Cyprus Consumers’ Association (CCA)

The Cyprus Consumers Association is an independent, non-political and non-governmental consumer organisation founded in 1973.

CCA campaigns on all consumer issues enabling to achieve a high level of consumer protection for all consumers in Cyprus and maximize the benefits of the single market for consumers. It publishes a quarterly magazine O Katanalotis (The Consumer), free of charge to members.

The Association is very active in promoting public awareness and it runs a number of different educational activities for adults and children. It is active on a range of issues pertaining to food and product safety, food hygiene, health, GMOs,” consumer legislation and Information and Communication Technologies. The Association also runs a complaints and advice service at its offices situated in Limassol and Larnaca.
