Slovenian Consumers’ Association (ZPS) is an independent, non-profit, internationally recognized non-governmental organization. Created in 1990, ZPS – Slovene Consumers’ Association is the oldest consumer NGO active in Slovenia.
ZPS’ main activities comprise:
- Consumer advice.
- Consumer information.
- Campaigning and lobbying on behalf of consumers.
ZPS is also a partner in numerous national and global projects. 2007 and 2008 key priorities for ZPS will include financial services, product safety, food and nutrition, and participation into an international media project and a project about the euro.
ZPS also lobbies for the sectorial introduction of a dispute resolution mechanism or ADR system in new areas such as travel agencies, financial services, telecoms, etc. ZPS is also a member of BEUC, ANEC and ICRT.
